Modifications to this contract can only be made with written consent from ridermedals.com. If any portion of this Agreement is held invalid or inoperative, then so far as is reasonable and possible, consistent with the intent of this Agreement, the remainder of such provision and this Agreement shall be deemed valid and operative, and effect shall be given to the intent manifested by the portion held invalid or inoperative.

This Agreement and all matters or issues will be governed by the state of Virginia. You agree any legal actions made as a result of these terms will be filed in the state or federal courts of Fauquier County in the state of Virginia and you approve and yield to the jurisdiction of such courts for proceedings on any such actions.

These Terms and Conditions and the Rules are effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate this agreement by destroying all materials, downloads, programs, text, photos or documents acquired from this Website. The rights given to you under these terms and conditions will end immediately without prior notice from ridermedals.com if you fail to comply with any part of the terms or break the Rules. Following such termination you must destroy all materials, downloads, programs, text, photos or documents obtained on or through ridermedals.com.

Account Types

Riding Instructor – also referred to as an instructor or content creator. Users with this type of account can create free and paid content and offer services on ridermedals.com. They can create events, job openings and create library articles. They can post reviews and comments and enroll, complete and rate courses.

Horseback Riding Student – also referred to as a student or non-content creator. Users with this type of account cannot create free or paid content or offer services on ridermedals.com. They can post reviews and comments and enroll, complete and rate courses.

Copyright Laws

  1. Linking, posting or uploading copyrighted material to the Website without permission from the original copyright holder may be illegal and is forbidden. You must own the copyright to the materials or have written permissions from the copyright owner before posting or uploading any copyrighted material on ridermedals.com. If you would like to report a copyright violation please contact us and it will be removed.
  2. ridermedals.com may in sole discretion cooperate with law enforcement and legal entities in disclosing account information for persons who have or are accused of violating copyright laws.

Widgets, Embeds, Pictures and Hyperlinks

  1. You agree not to upload pictures, graphics or images, music, or text that are obscene, vulgar, sexual, that contain inappropriate language, or that reference or depict drugs, violence, smoking or alcohol.
  2. Excessive posting of the same material is not allowed. This is considered flooding and is annoying so please be respectful of other persons.
  3. Chat boxes, shout boxes, and any other form of instant messaging is are not allowed.
  4. Advertising is only permitted from members with a riding instructor account. Riding instructors may only advertise their personal services, courses, trainings, virtual coaching, jobs, events and library articles. Advertising horse/tack/supply sales is not allowed.
  5. Hyperlinks should be clearly visible and identifiable as hyperlinks.
  6. Malicious hyperlinks or hyperlinks to inappropriate content are forbidden.
  7. Hyperlinks should only be to relevant information or websites for the lesson at hand.

Media & Images

  1. Only upload images, videos and audio you have created yourself or have full rights and permission to use.
  2. Posting inappropriate, graphic or obscene media is forbidden.
  3. Images of internal horse anatomy or graphic injuries require a graphic image warning at the top of the lesson content.
  4. Media warnings must be the first line of text in the lesson and have the text Graphic Media Warning in font size H1.
  5. If there is a graphic media warning you must include a description of the media lower down in the lesson. For example: This lesson includes a picture of a deep laceration to the right front leg with the bone exposed.

Downloadable Content

  1. Downloads may only contain content you have created and have full rights permissions to use.
  2. ridermedals.com makes no guarantees or warranties that downloadable content provided on this website is free from viruses or other harmful software or devices. Download course contents at your own risk.

Automated Scripts and Unauthorized Access

  1. You agree not to use automated scripts, excessively refresh the page, or consume server resources with or without malicious intent.
  2. Logging into an account that doesn’t belong to you, even with the permission of the account owner, may be considered hacking or unauthorized access.
  3. You may not login to admin areas that you are not permitted to have access to. The riding instructor dashboard is only for members with a riding instructor account. If you see access to areas you believe you should not have access to please contact us.

Shared Accounts

  1. Shared accounts are strongly discouraged however they are allowed.
  2. If ownership disputes are made over an account ridermedals.com has final say on whom will be awarded ownership of the account.

  1. Text or HTML must be appropriate for people of all ages, may not contain harmful devices, redirects, or viruses that may affect the operation of or damage website servers, software and applications.
  2. Fighting, bullying, threats, condoning violence, drugs or alcohol, dating, and cybering are not allowed. No crude language or inappropriate content.
  3. Any text you write must be your own words except for quotes.

  4. If you are having technical issues not related to course contents please try our student support section.
  5. If you are riding instructor having trouble creating course or library contents please try our instructor support section.

Content Quality

  1. ridermedals.com provides no guarantees or warranties on the quality of course content. While we review courses and content before they are approved, the content may be edited, outdated, or invalid over time.
  2. Courses with multiple negative or low reviews can be de-monetized, de-prioritized or even removed from our course listings
  3. Courses with high prices and low quality content may be de-monetized, de-prioritized or even removed from our course listings

Account Suspensions

  1. An account can be suspended for breaking any of these terms & conditions or having content repeatedly removal or demonetized
  2. Suspended accounts are not eligible to receive commission payments for the duration they are suspended
  3. Accounts can be suspended for a set period of time or indefinitely
  4. Suspended accounts may have their content removed or demonetized

Loss of Riding Instructor Status

  1. Accounts who have 3 courses de-monetized or removed will be removed from content creator status and revert to a riding student account
  2. Content created while the account was a riding instructor account will be removed or demonetized

Content Removal

  1. Content can be removed for breaking any of these terms & conditions, poor reviews or ratings, complaints
  2. Content can be removed for any other reason at the discretion of ridermedals.com without notice or warning

Content Demonetization

  1. Paid content can be demonetized for breaking any of these terms & conditions, low or poor content quality, pricing that is not in line with the content/quality of the course offerings, low ratings, user complaints or poor reviews.
  2. If an account is suspended the content may be demonetized
  3. Content may be demonetized at the discretion of ridermedals.com without notice or warning

Free Content

Courses may be offered for free. If you enroll in a free course that later becomes a paid course you will not be charged for the course as long as you remain enrolled. If you unenroll in the course and then try to re-enroll you will have to pay the course price. Content in our library is always available for free. Riding instructors will not earn any commission on free content. Riding instructors may link to their paid content and services from their free content. Riding instructors may choose to change a paid course to a free course and a free course to a paid course at any time.

Paid Content

Riding instructors will earn an 80% commission on all paid content they make that other users purchase. Riding instructors can set their own prices on their content and it should reflect the amount of content and quality of their content. Paid content is offered at full price or at sale prices. When content is on sale the riding instructor will earn 80% commission on the sale price. Riding instructors may choose when to offer their content for sale, ridermedals.com will never offer paid content for sale without written consent from the content creator.

Refunds

All payments are non-refundable. Please carefully review the course curriculum and reviews before making a purchase. All goods and services offered by ridermedals.com are provided AS-IS without warranty of any kind. Damaged or broken physical goods may be replaced in the sole discretion of ridermedals.com. Users who purchase content will not receive a refund if the content later goes up for sale or becomes free.

Please leave an appropriate review on the content if you are dissatisfied with the quality, materials or service.

Commissions

In order to receive commissions you must have an email address with a Paypal account in good standing. ridermedals.com will not mail checks to a physical address. Riding instructors earn 80% commission from any paid content purchased by other users. Riding instructors can request a payment once they have reached a minimum withdrawal amount of $25. Once a payment has been requested it typically takes a week to process before the payment is sent to a valid Paypal account email address.

Requesting A Commission Payment

  1. Go to your profile
  2. Click on the withdrawals option
  3. Enter your ridermedals.com account password
  4. Enter your PayPal email address
  5. Type in the amount you wish to withdraw or click the request all checkbox
  6. Click the submit request button
  7. A new line item will appear in the withdrawals history table with a status of pending
  8. Once we send the money to your PayPal account, the status of your request will change to completed
